A five-hectare ground-mounted plant has now successfully gone into operation in the district of Dithmarschen, Schleswig-Holstein. The plant in the community of Lehe comprises almost 8000 solar modules with a total output of 3.5 MWp. This is enough to supply around 1000 four-person households with green energy. In addition, annual savings of 1700 metric tons of CO2 will be achieved.
As a project partner, we are committed to have a positive impact on climate protection, biodiversity, environmental protection, nature conservation and rural development during the planning and implementation phases. The plant will be generously landscaped and harmoniously integrated into the landscape. Likewise, the ground area under and between the rows of modules will be laid out as permanent grassland with flowering herbs, thus creating valuable habitat for numerous animal and plant species.
