New fast-charging station for electric vehicles commissioned in Grabenstätt

Press release

Traunstein, 19.12.2024

Yesterday, Wednesday, a new Hypercharger was put into operation in the municipality of Grabenstätt in the district of Traunstein, significantly expanding the existing charging infrastructure. The modern fast-charging station has two DC charging points with CCS plugs, each offering a capacity of 50 kilowatts and two 25 kilowatts respectively. This means that electric vehicles can be charged in the shortest possible time - an important contribution to promoting electromobility and improving mobility for the citizens of the region.

One particular highlight is the new Giro-e billing system, which is available at MaxSolar's charging stations. Users can then conveniently pay for the charging process using their debit card with an NFC chip. All contactless bank cards from German banks are accepted, which significantly simplifies the charging process and makes access to the charging infrastructure user-friendly.

The symbolic commissioning of the fast charger took place at the car park in Hauptstraße 11, accompanied by Mayor Gerhard Wirnshofer and Elke Hanel, Head of Project Development at MaxSolar GmbH, as well as other employees from the MaxSolar GmbH plant and electromobility teams.
