Substations & Grid Integration

The planning, design and construction of substations form a key part of our service portfolio in the field of energy infrastructure. As the central interface between generation plants and the electricity grid, substations provide the foundation for the secure, stable and efficient feed-in of renewable energy. They ensure that the energy generated can be reliably integrated into the regional supply grid and distributed in line with demand.

We take a holistic approach that gives equal consideration to technical, economic and future-oriented requirements. From the initial grid assessment through technical planning to implementation, we provide comprehensive support for projects and develop bespoke solutions for a wide range of requirements.

Reference project
Kerbfeld Substation

In Kerbfeld, a district of the municipality of Aidhausen, we have built a substation equipped with two high-voltage transformers and successfully commissioned it in 2023.

The substation serves as the central interface between the 125 MW solar park in Bundorf and the regional electricity grid.

At the same time, additional grid connection capacity has been created for further generation facilities.
