Marktl am Inn/Altötting district, 30.01.2025
The district heating project in Marktl am Inn in the district of Altötting is making rapid progress: MaxSolar GmbH from Traunstein and the future operating company of the district heating network have now published details of the prices and connection costs of the complete heating package and are giving interested parties in the area under consideration who have already received contracts the opportunity to express their interest in connecting to the new district heating network by means of a contract.
Advantages for homeowners: complete package and state subsidy
Josef Heigermoser, Head of the Heating Department at MaxSolar GmbH, emphasises the numerous benefits that connecting to the district heating network brings for homeowners and describes the details as follows: ‘We offer an all-round carefree package at a flat-rate preferential price of 33,000 euros gross. The package includes the work in the house, such as the disposal of the oil boiler and the house installation work, including hydraulic balancing. On the house connection side, the price also includes the connection pipe, the wall duct and the transfer station. In addition, the first 20 metres of house connection pipe and five metres of paving are included in the all-inclusive price. This price applies to our first-time connectors.’
For an average household with a connected load of 12 kilowatts (kW) and an assumed consumption of 22,000 kilowatt hours (kWh), this means a gross annual base price of €773.50 and a labour price of just 10.71 cents per kilowatt hour. These prices are valid until 1 March 2028. Another advantage is the individual state KfW subsidy for connection customers, which can significantly reduce their own investment costs. At the beginning of February, households that have already signed a contract will receive an information sheet with helpful details on the subsidy.
Consultancy services and further information
Over the past few weeks, MaxSolar and the future operating company of the district heating network have offered numerous consultation hours and on-site appointments to provide citizens with comprehensive advice. These advisory services will continue to be available in the coming weeks. Heigermoser concludes: ‘By connecting to our district heating network, homeowners not only fulfil the future legal requirements for heat supply, but also benefit from a high level of comfort. As a tip, we recommend applying for the subsidy before the election in order to avoid delays in the further process. We look forward to realising the project together with the people of Marktl am Inn.’
Contracts can be signed by 28 February
The deadline for submitting contracts is 28 February 2025. The project can only proceed to detailed planning and route planning if there is sufficient interest from the public. Interested parties who have not yet received a contract or would like to find out more about the project can contact Fernwärme Marktl GmbH & Co KG on Telephone: 08678 988 830 and e-mail: fernwaerme@maxsolar.de Further information on the connection area is also available online.
