In Waren (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), a dual substation with two 110-kV feed-in bays was successfully commissioned, thereby enabling the grid connection of a 45-MW solar park.
The scope of work included the planning and complete execution of the building and civil engineering works for the substation.
The successful grid connection has laid the foundations for reliably feeding the generated solar power into the electricity grid and making a further contribution to the expansion of renewable energy.
