MaxSolar GmbH and SEAC Group put three new fast-charging stations into operation in Eggenfelden

Press release

Eggenfelden/ district of Rottal-Inn, 18.02.2025

In Eggenfelden (district of Rottal-Inn), three new fast-charging stations were officially put into operation on Monday, 17 February, thanks to the cooperation between MaxSolar GmbH from Traunstein and the SEAC Group from Hebertsfelden.

The innovative charging infrastructure, which is located in the Schellenbruckplatz car park, comprises three charging stations with a total of six charging points, each equipped with up to 300 kilowatts (kW) of power - a total of 900 kW charging power. The new fast-charging stations therefore offer one of the most powerful charging infrastructures in the Rottal-Inn region. The central location at Schellenbruckplatz, surrounded by shops and restaurants, makes the fast-charging stations an ideal starting point for electric vehicle owners who want to charge their vehicles quickly while they shop nearby.

Abdelilah Zaafarane, CEO of the SEAC Group, emphasised: ‘Thanks to the long-standing partnership with MaxSolar and the successful implementation of this charging infrastructure, we are making an important contribution to promoting electromobility and the energy transition in our Rottal-Inn region’.

Christoph Strasser, CEO of MaxSolar GmbH, commented on the partnership: ‘We are proud to make an important contribution to the promotion of electromobility with this state-of-the-art, high-tech charging infrastructure and to actively support the energy transition at the same time. We are offering the citizens of Eggenfelden a convenient and efficient way to charge their electric vehicles particularly quickly.’

Rottal Energie as operator

The new fast charging station is operated by Rottal Energie, a regional brand of the SEAC Group, while MaxSolar GmbH is responsible for the technical and commercial management. The acceptance of credit cards, common roaming RFID cards and EC cards with NFC chips from all German banks is particularly user-friendly. This allows drivers to pay easily.
