MaxSolar GmbH, headquartered in Traunstein (Bavaria), has reached out to the municipality of Morschen in the Schwalm-Eder district (Hesse) this Christmas season with a special donation. The company is donating around 900 euros, which the municipality will use to purchase and set up Christmas trees for festive decoration.
Matthias Iaconelli-Popp, Team Lead Project and Construction Management – Line Route at MaxSolar, emphasizes: “As a company, we not only want to contribute to the energy transition, but also to strengthen the local community and bring a bit of joy to the citizens of Morschen at Christmas.”
MaxSolar GmbH is currently constructing two large photovoltaic plants in the region: one in Morschen-Heina with a capacity of approx. 18 megawatts (MW), and another in Morschen-Eubach with approx. 19 MW. In total, more than 60,000 photovoltaic modules will be installed across the sites. “Our projects in Morschen are an example of the successful combination of innovative energy technology and regional development. We aim not only to provide green energy, but also to share a little Christmas cheer with the community,” Iaconelli-Popp continues.
Mayor Roland Zobel adds: “We are very pleased that MaxSolar GmbH, as an active partner in our municipality, not only contributes to the regional energy transition through its innovative technology, but also sets a valuable example with this donation. It helps strengthen the sense of community during the festive Christmas season.”
