Once again this year, E-World in Essen was a central meeting place for the energy industry.
Innovations, new market impulses and numerous discussions showed how dynamically the industry continues to develop. At the same time, regulatory discussions surrounding the ‘grid package’ are causing uncertainty. Right now, planning security and reliable framework conditions are of crucial importance.
A particular highlight was the appearance of our colleague Yvonne Strzys in the BEE discussion panel on the topic of ‘Energy transition from the bottom up – using the energy transition calculator for regional transformation’. The discussion made it clear that regional, data-based approaches are the key to the next phase of the transformation.
As infrastructure developers, we see it as our responsibility to take the lead and work with partners, grid operators and politicians to implement viable solutions.
