The outdoor pool in the town of Töging not only got shady parking spaces, but also sustainably generated electricity from solar modules. In this project, EnergieGenossenschaft Inn-Salzach eG is investing in a carport with a photovoltaic system planned and installed by us, which is then leased and operated by the town of Töging itself. 70 per cent of the electricity generated there is consumed directly in the swimming pool, literally a project by citizens for citizens. At the end of the lease term, the carport will become the property of the town.
