The ground-mounted photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 13 megawatts peak was successfully commissioned in March 2024.
The plant can cover the electricity needs of around 4100 four-person households and is partly designed as a community solar park.
Citizen participation in the community solar park is realized via EGIS eG. The solar park has around 23,000 photovoltaic modules.
It will now generate around 14,000 megawatt hours of green electricity and save around 9600 tons of carbon dioxide.
