The three charging stations with a total of six charging points are AC chargers, i.e. they charge with direct current and can each provide 22KW. Using radio frequency identification (RFID) chip cards or various service apps, electric car drivers register at the charging station and pay for exactly the amount of electricity they consume to charge their cars. MaxSolar from Traunstein has been commissioned with the technical implementation and the charging infrastructure is operated by Energiegenossenschaft Innsalzach eG. The property owner is the town of Neuöttting.
