Traunstein, March 20, 2024
MaxSolar GmbH, a leading holistic solution provider in the field of renewable energies in Germany, and its subsidiary Energy Partners, are pleased to announce the expansion of their cooperation with SMA Solar Technology AG, a leading global specialist for solar systems.
With immediate effect, MaxSolar will be able to offer an extended service in projects and for customers, particularly in the area of maintenance and service work on central inverters. In future, MaxSolar will also cover the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector with the product portfolio provided by SMA - including services. For customer and own projects, this will result in advantages such as shorter response times in the event of faults, optimization of system operation, an expanded service portfolio and an all-round service package for the solar parks and rooftop systems in the company's own portfolio.
"By working closely with SMA as a supplier and service partner, we are not only underlining our pioneering role in the field of renewable energies, but also opening up new avenues for innovative solutions for our customers. This partnership will further increase the efficiency of our projects during implementation. Two further major projects with 90 and 40 megawatt peak are already planned for cooperation with SMA in 2024. We also support our projects and customers as a Frist-level service partner for SMA products," emphasizes Christoph Strasser, CEO of MaxSolar.
An outstanding example of the successful cooperation is the 125 megawatt peak photovoltaic project in Bundorf. There, 22 SMA Medium Voltage Power Stations (MVPS) were successfully integrated as a turnkey container solution. These contribute significantly to the efficiency and progress of the project. Matthias Giller, Head of Sales at MaxSolar and Managing Director of the subsidiary Energy Partners, explains: "The experience in Bundorf shows the success of the partnership. Together with SMA, we are able to get the maximum out of our projects in terms of service and quality. The aim now is to expand this partnership in the area of C&I rooftop systems and to integrate more products from the domestic market."
"We are delighted that we have been able to expand our cooperation with MaxSolar. With the additional qualification measure - "Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Sunny Central" - the service staff trained by SMA can now carry out maintenance and repair work on SMA systems and central inverters independently," says Michael Ebel, Head of Sales C&I at SMA. "Our training courses are perfectly tailored to the requirements of service technicians in large solar projects with SMA components and solutions. PV power plant operators benefit from more efficient, reliable and future-proof projects."
