Start of construction of the solar parks in Aalen-Mäderhof and Pirach

The construction of two ground-mounted solar plants begins with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony:

In Aalen-Mäderhof (Baden-Württemberg), the first ground-mounted PV system in the city is being built on an area of around 4.5 hectares. By the end of the year, 7722 solar modules are to be installed there, which will supply around 1400 households with clean electricity every year. This ambitious project is a true prime example of the energy transition, explains Hans-Peter Weber, board member of OstalbBürgerEnergie eG (OBE). “It is a promising project that plays an important role in the regional energy transition.” Despite bureaucratic challenges in recent years, the time has finally come. The plant is to be commissioned by the end of the year in order to be able to start operation in time in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). Final completion and connection to the electricity grid are planned for April 2025.

Pirach (Bavaria) is also investing heavily in the future: The Linner solar park is taking shape. A park with a total output of around 8.5 megawatts is being built on an area along a railroad line, which will help to secure a sustainable energy supply in the Burgkirchen an der Alz region. MaxSolar GmbH is not only responsible for the development and construction of the project, but is also taking over the technical management. The solar park is scheduled for completion in April 2025.
