Start of construction for Dachau's largest PV project with Hubert Aiwanger: Piling work with ministerial support

Bavaria's Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger personally lent a hand and carried out the first pile-driving for the module substructure on the Kiemertshofen project site. As EPC, MaxSolar is erecting two photovoltaic systems for Altoland Solar GmbH & Co. KG. The plant in Kiemertshofen near Altomünster and in Pfaffenhofen. Both in the district of Dachau. A total of 33,330 modules will be installed on an area of 23 hectares. "This makes the project the largest in the district of Dachau," said Mayor Michael Reiter in his welcoming address. In purely mathematical terms, around 9,000 households can be supplied with the regionally produced electricity. Another important step towards climate neutrality.

"As a service provider, we always respond specifically to the needs of our partners. My team and I appreciate the cooperation on an equal footing with Mr. Reinhard Schmutz and Hans Schweiger from Altoland Solar GmbH & Co. KG," emphasizes David Butz, authorized signatory and Chief Operating Officer at MaxSolar.

In his speech, Reinhard Schmutz emphasized the excellent cooperation with MaxSolar: "You are a very fair, good and important partner in the realization of our projects. Thank you very much for that!"

Solar parks will play an important and significant role in the expansion of renewable energies in this decade. One of the central questions of the energy transition is therefore how the expansion of ground-mounted PV systems can have the greatest possible positive impact on environmental protection and nature conservation, agriculture and regional value creation.

The Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft e.V. is responding to these important questions with the voluntary commitment "Good Planning". The signatory companies and the bne want to show that the solar industry is aware of its responsibility for acceptance-based expansion - and is actively taking on this responsibility. The aim of "Good Planning" is to make best practice the standard in the planning, approval, construction and operation of solar parks.

MaxSolar was one of the first companies to sign this voluntary commitment and is implementing the standards as best practice.

After completion in the summer, sheep will take over green maintenance at the plant in Kiemertshofen. The area between the rows of modules is home to protected birds and more than 3,700 plants thrive there.

Aiwanger also praised this "gain in ecology", e.g. through sheep grazing or even possible agricultural use at AGRI-PV, as an added value of ground-mounted solar parks.
