Site inspection of the Marktl heating network – visible progress on site

On Monday, 2 March 2026, project managers from the municipality, the installation company Schupfner and MaxSolar met directly at the construction site in Marktl to see for themselves the current progress of the heating network construction.

A lot has happened on site in recent weeks: among other things, a buffer storage tank with a capacity of 102 cubic metres and a 600 kW heat pump were delivered and installed. In future, heat will be generated using a combination of the heat pump and a 330 kW wood chip heating system. The project is thus based on a sustainable, regional and future-proof supply concept.

In the first stage, around 40 single-family homes and three major customers will be connected. The network also offers further potential for additional connections. We are delighted with the visible progress and the excellent cooperation between all those involved.

Among those present were (from left to right): Mayor Franz Lehner (Stammham), Mayor Benedikt Dittmann (Marktl), Josef Heigermoser (Head of Heating Department), Christoph Strasser (CEO MaxSolar), Maximilian Huber (Heating Project Manager), Jürgen Kragulji (Heating Project Manager), Felix Glas (Head of Building Authority), Josef Schupfner (Managing Director Schupfner GmbH).
