We successfully completed a project with almost 20 megawatts (MW) and 32,643 modules in an impressive construction time of just 10 weeks on the DC side. That means 2 megawatts per week!
Our project and construction teams had to overcome a variety of challenges, from planning to realisation. Particularly exciting: the east-west system on the second solar field, which allows solar energy to be utilised more in line with the course of the sun. This orientation allows the modules to generate energy more efficiently in both the morning and evening hours, which stabilises the overall output throughout the day and distributes the energy yield more evenly throughout the day. As a result, energy generation can be better adapted to user and consumption behaviour and, if necessary, the power grid can be relieved.
The AC-side commissioning is still pending, but will take place in the next five months or so, so that this step will also be successfully completed.
