Yesterday, representatives from Bayernwerk AG and Bayernwerk Netz GmbH joined us at the NeX25 session to discuss key issues for the future of our energy infrastructure:
- Integration of millions of renewable energy producers
- Potential of bidirectional charging
- Digital innovations in grid operation
- Security of supply through dynamic grid management
A particular highlight was the contribution from our colleague Matthias Giller: he presented Germany's first grid-connected storage facility, which we are implementing together with Bayernwerk Netz GmbH in the district of Cham – a prototype for a new generation of storage facilities that actively contribute to grid stability.
