MaxSolar expands charging facilities for electric vehicles at the Marquartstein-Niederfels Hochplattenbahn cable car

The Hochplattenbahn Marquartstein-Niedernfels has significantly expanded its charging facilities for electric vehicles. Nine years after the first charging station went into operation, the Chiemgau region is once again setting an example for environmentally friendly mobility.

A total of six charging points are now available where electric car drivers can charge their vehicles with clean green electricity. The charging processes are billed via all common charging cards using the roaming method in order to offer users maximum flexibility. Each charging point has a charging capacity of 11 kilowatts of alternating current; at full capacity, the total connected load of 30 kilowatts is distributed evenly across the occupied charging points by an internal load management system.

The expansion of charging options is an important step towards sustainable mobility in Chiemgau. It is expected that this measure will further increase the attractiveness of the location for electric car drivers, who will now be able to return home with a fully charged battery after a relaxing day in the Staffn-Alm/Hochplatte recreation area.
