Three intensive but successful days at the trade fair are now behind us, which we were able to conclude with many interesting and valuable discussions. It was an inspiring opportunity to explore the latest developments and innovations in the field of renewable energies.
In the run-up to Intersolar, we were awarded a prize in the Outstanding Projects category at The smarter E AWARD ceremony. This category recognizes outstanding achievements and innovations. We were honored for our Bundorf innovation project. This award honors our innovative strength and our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. It is a great acknowledgement of our work and an incentive to continue to be a leader in the solar and energy sector. Elke Hanel then spoke at The smarter E forum on June 19 about the Bundorf innovation project entitled "Innovation Project Bundorf - Sector Coupling, Citizen Participation and Biodiversity at its best".
On the first day of the trade fair, we were able to hold intensive discussions about the future of solar technology. One highlight was the announcement of the EP-Sherpa energy management system from Energy Partners by Matthias Giller. This was immediately followed by the w.one | women of new energies get-together, which was moderated and accompanied by Elke Hanel and Tina Barroso. More than 40 women from the renewables sector engaged in intensive discussions at the trade fair stand. The first day was celebrated in style at our stand party together with all our customers, partners, guests and employees - including a live broadcast of the European Championship match.
The second day was characterized by our MaxSolar round table. Here we discussed the latest developments in the field of ground-mounted photovoltaics. All topics relating to PPAs, PV project development and the challenges of grid connection were intensively discussed and examined with the guests present. Our colleague Yvonne Strzys also gave an expert presentation on sector coupling as a business model together with Jan Bauer (EnBW) and Robin von Plettenberg (H-Tec Systems). The panel was moderated by Nicole Weinhold (Renewable Energies).
On the final third day, we were delighted with the continued high number of visitors and the ongoing in-depth discussions about future collaborations and projects. It was particularly encouraging to see the growing interest in sustainable solutions and the willingness to collaborate within the industry.
Intersolar 2024 was a complete success.
We look forward to next year!
