With immediate effect, we will be responsible for municipal heating planning for the following four municipalities and this success underlines our expertise as an engineering service provider and our leading role in the development of sustainable energy concepts:
- Herrsching am Ammersee, Bavaria
- Birkenwerder, Brandenburg
- Cappeln (Oldenburg), Lower Saxony
- Neu Wulmstorf, Lower Saxony
Since January 2024, municipalities in Germany have been obliged to develop municipal heating plans, which serve as a basis for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the heating sector and ensuring a sustainable heat supply. Heat planning is a key element of many municipalities' climate strategies to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels and pave the way to climate neutrality.
The aim is to ensure a future-proof, climate-neutral and efficient heat supply that meets local needs and sustainably reduces CO₂ emissions.
