Yesterday, our managing director Christoph Strasser had the opportunity to discuss the importance of flexibility in the grid. With the planned first grid-connected storage facility in the Bavarian district of Cham, MaxSolar and Bayernwerk Netze are helping to make the entire system more efficient.
The programme discussed important topics, including:
- Grid management & emergency scenarios – What innovations could help? How can we secure the electricity supply, especially in times of crisis?
- Transformation of the energy system – How can we increase the flexibility of the system and meet growing demands?
- Wind power in Bavaria – How can the expansion of wind energy finally be accelerated?
