We have put our first solar tracker into operation on the grounds of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Dürnast near Freising.
This step marks an important milestone in our project development: it is our first project with tracker PV systems and marks our successful entry into a new, innovative technology.
What are tracker PV systems?
Trackers are solar systems that continuously align the modules with the sun during the day. This technology enables a significant increase in energy production as the panels are always optimally aligned with the sun. Compared to static systems, where the modules are permanently installed, the trackers follow the sun's rays and thus increase the efficiency of the solar cells.
In addition - as in Dürnast - agricultural operations are still possible between the trackers.
